Claire moved to Canada from the UK after completing her degree and has been with IG Wealth Management since 1993, working her way up from Office Junior to Executive Financial Consultant. She won the prestigious President's List award for the top 1% in the country^* when she received her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® (CFP) designation.

Nelson has been her home for most her years in Canada, and she enjoys all that the area offers. She can be found on Kootenay Lake in her boat and camping at spots throughout the area. She is involved in the local Capitol Theatre, both on stage in various productions and choirs, and also as the Chair of the Board of the theatre. When she’s not busy singing and sailing, she is playing disc golf with her husband and son, and learning to sew.

Claire is a sought-after Advisor in the West Kootenays, and works diligently to simplify each client’s financial life, coaching them through critical financial events and helping them to make the right decisions at the right times. One of her strengths is the ability to take complex financial and tax planning issues and simplify them for clients. She delivers tax-efficient strategies that help improve clients' financial position, and creates peace of mind in a complex world. She thoroughly enjoys working closely with all the various people that come in to see her.

1. What kind of music do you listen to? I try to like everything, but I seem to be stuck in the 80’s.
2. What is your favourite holiday? August Long Weekend. I just love the height of summer!
3. What is your favourite food? Something with a little spice; so I like Mexican, Thai and Indian food.
